Growing up, Edith Fernandez was always captivated by electronic devices. “Each time my family bought a new gadget, I read its user handbook and tested it out,” she states. “My curiosity eventually led me to the tech market.”
Fernandez was born in Kerala, India. Since my mother was running a customizing system at house, the household frequently had many visitors, and Fernandez and her sis served tea and treats to customers as they came and went. “My mama was an entrepreneur, and I think I have her values,” says Fernandez.

From telemarketing tasks to door-to-door sales to working for a tourist company, she eventually discovered her way to IT, registering in a CCNA class. Within a few months, Fernandez made certifications for RHCSA and RHCE.
Fernandez began with Nexcess in the early 2020s when she was worked with for the provisioning department. I worked as a tech for four months and was promoted to my current position.”
Now at Liquid Web, Fernandez works with the Managed Applications Chat Support team. “We are the front line of defense, so chats are our top priority and main duty,” she states.
